So, I count a little bit shorter with a few more layers as a change and well, that's probably as fancy as I'll get. My sisters are much braver than me.
But! I do have long hair. And you can style that! So Nick and I were headed to a fancy-ish dinner and I decided to fancy it up!
I've never actually taken one of the bathroom photos with my phone, so I have to say, I have a tiny bit more respect for those idiots that do it all the time (with the duck face). But anyway...

For serious, my first attempt at fancy hair that isn't "down and curled". I'm proud!
Suggestions??
Similar to what I can see in your pic, I always liked how this turned out (though it takes some time): Curl your hair like normal, then put it in a low, side pony (but off your neck), then use bobby pins to pin sections up around the pony tail to hide the hair tie. It ends up being an asymmetrical, messy, curly bun that actually looks fancy! (though maybe doesn't sound like it on here...)
ReplyDeleteso pretty care! I like it a lot. when emily was here she made me do her hair and sarah always makes me do it when I'm home. did you have to do ours?? I've gotten really good and fancy at it because of this. yours looks great good job! did you follow a tutorial?
